Commander Peter C. Flynn

CDR Flynn is a native of East Aurora, New York. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics.
At sea, he served as Anti-Submarine Warfare Officer on USS Port Royal (CG 73) out of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and Reactor Electrical division officer aboard USS George Washington (CVN 73) out of Yokosuka, Japan. For his department head tours, he served as Engineer Officer aboard USS Thach (FFG 43) and USS Mobile Bay (CG 53), both out of San Diego, California.
Ashore, he served as Surface Warfare tactics analyst in the Office of Naval Intelligence SABER Division and Deputy Executive Assistant to the Director of Surface Warfare (OPNAV N96). His most recent assignment was with the Navy Office of Legislative Affairs (OLA), in which he completed two consecutive fellowships on Capitol Hill with Representative Rob Wittman (VA-01) and Senator David Perdue (GA).
